Capitol Hill Elementary School, opened in 1921 as Capitol Hill Junior High School, serves students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school s staff includes a counselor, nurse, instructional specialist, technologist and speech therapist. Capitol Hill Elementary School teaches various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, language arts, computer science, music, art and physical education. The school s library offers several magazines, newspapers, books and periodicals for students and teachers. In addition, the library stocks atlases, encyclopedias and general reference books.
